Delft lion, symbolizing protective grace and noble authority
I have been in full-time private practice for thirteen years. Previously, I worked in various settings, including a university counseling center, a hospice, a probation and parole office, and a community mental health agency. My experience includes work with a wide variety of clients struggling with a full spectrum of psychological issues. I have sought out extensive training in depth psychology, including a two-year professional seminar at the Pacific Northwest Society of Jungian Analysts, a two-year professional seminar at the North Pacific Institute of Analytical Psychology, and the one-year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Currently, I am training to become a Jungian analyst at the C.G. Jung Institute of the Pacific Northwest.
I am a clinical social worker licensed to practice in Oregon by the Oregon Board of Clinical Social Workers. My masters degree in social work is from the Portland State University School of Social Work (1998). Other academic degrees include a B.A. in music from Brandeis University (1977), and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law (1984).
