I was certified as a Jungian analyst in 2017 by the C.G. Jung Institute Pacific Northwest, and have been practicing Jungian analysis in Portland since that time. I am a current member of the Pacific Northwest Society of Jungian Analysts. I have been in clinical practice as a Portland therapist since 1998. In addition to private practice, I have worked in various settings, including a university counseling center, a hospice, a probation and parole office, and a community mental health agency. My experience includes work with a wide variety of clients struggling with a full spectrum of issues. I have sought out extensive training in depth psychotherapy, including a two-year professional seminar with the Pacific Northwest Society of Jungian Analysts, a two-year professional seminar at the North Pacific Institute of Analytical Psychology, and the one-year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
I am a clinical social worker licensed to practice in Oregon by the Oregon Board of Clinical Social Workers. I am not a practicing psychologist by training, background. licensing, or otherwise. My masters degree in social work is from the Portland State University School of Social Work (1998). Other academic degrees include a B.A. in music from Brandeis University (1977), and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law (1984).
